Welcome to Abacus Brain Study Pvt. Ltd.
The human brain consists of two hemispheres: the left and the right. The left hemisphere is generally associated with logical thinking, language, and analytical processes, while the right hemisphere is linked to creativity, imagination, visualization, and intuitive thinking. Many people tend to rely more heavily on the functions of the left hemisphere in their daily activities. The ICMAS program is designed to encourage greater use of the right hemisphere, helping children enhance their overall learning abilities and performance.
ICMAS stands for International Concept of Mental Arithmetic System. The program is based on the traditional Soroban (Japanese abacus) technique, which originated in Japan. By combining this time-tested method with modern educational approaches, ICMAS provides children with a structured mental arithmetic training system.
The program uses the abacus as a learning tool to strengthen mental calculation skills and stimulate cognitive development. Through regular practice, students learn to visualize the abacus mentally, enabling them to perform calculations quickly and accurately. This process helps improve concentration, memory, observation skills, learning capacity, and mental agility.
A strong understanding of arithmetic plays an important role in building a child’s academic foundation. ICMAS is recognized internationally as a comprehensive mental development program that aims to unlock children’s potential by enhancing memory, imagination, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. As a result, students often develop greater self-confidence, independence, and improved academic performance across various subjects.
